Having been part of many friends’ amazing weddings, I realised that having mementos from the day was special. I’m not ashamed to say I have cherished some of these things; from the wedding invite, to personalised gowns, to letters written to me from the Bride. When I see and touch these keepsakes I am transported straight back to that day – and it is just wonderful! What better way to remember a day than with jewellery you can wear time and time again?

That’s why I wanted to create a jewellery box with a difference; I would love for it not to be tucked away in a drawer but to be on show on your dressing table. A beautiful addition to be admired and left on display. If you don’t use it as a jewellery box, why not make it a trinket box for buttons or hair grips?

Coucou – my name is Annabelle Marie-Blanche and I’m the founder of Marie-Blanche jewellery. I created this brand from my love of gifting; the thought and process that goes into putting together something beautiful for somebody special.

Every chosen piece from the Marie-Blanche collection will arrive to you in a box sealed with my personal touch; once you have found the piece you like from our range of elegant, high quality sterling silver jewellery, you get to choose from a bespoke personalised box; hand-painted or adorned with a beautiful, pressed flower and a wax seal.

I had been working in the jewellery trade for a couple of years having joined my father’s business when the idea for Marie-Blanche started to grow. I really wanted to build something creative and personalised, something to genuinely complement the magic of receiving a gorgeous piece of jewellery; this was the inspiration for the boxes. For the jewellery, I selected a range of classically designed, timeless pieces which would be perfect for wedding favours, gifts, and other special occasions.

Marie-Blanche is the name of my great French grandmother and also my middle-name. My great-grandmother was an artisan in her own right and should take credit for the inspiration behind what’s been created in Marie-Blanche today. I hope I have brought her spirit and passion to life through a beautiful collection of jewellery and I hope that my personal touch will make it even just that little bit more special.
